The 'ICE Floyd' Lynch Mob Is Already Wearing Out Its Welcome In Minnesota
Strenuous efforts to deny driver's culpability in shooting incident have failed

First, activists assured me that Renée Good’s Honda Pilot SUV never even touched ICE officer Jonathan Ross. Then, when video evidence showed that Good’s vehicle did make contact with Ross, the same activists assured me that Ross was not struck hard enough to injure him. After CBS News reported on Wednesday that Ross did in fact suffer deep tissue injuries to his legs and torso, the very same activists screamed about a conspiracy to cover up a crime with fake medical reports, that no collision so minor could have resulted in real injury.
These “activists” unfortunately include elected Democrats and legacy media. The “activism” they do is aimed at protecting Democrats from the consequences of the massive fraud committed by an immigrant voting block favored by Democrats. Renée and Becca Good were “activists” in this mold, being heroes in their own minds as they instigated their fatal confrontation with armed law enforcement. The beatification of Renée Good has been an exercise in propaganda that Pretends Not To Get Things, such as the physics of a 4,000-lb vehicle colliding with a human body.
In the latest example, on Friday The New York Times published an “analysis” in which they actually argue that it is “impossible” to tell whether Ross was in physical contact with Good’s vehicle while he was visibly being pushed forward by physical contact with the vehicle. On planet New York Times, it is somehow realistically conceivable that a two hundred pound man is physically pulling a two-ton SUV towards him with magic powers while he is sliding backwards.
In this clip from the risible NYT “analysis,” you can see that Ross’s gun hand is aimed at the windshield while he is being moved. He was hit first, then he fired. Anyone who suggests he somehow wanted to be hit by the vehicle in order to justify shooting Good must explain their reasoning to reasonable people.
The only legal standard that matters here is whether a reasonable law enforcement officer would be in fear for his life while an SUV was running into him, and the obvious answer is yes. Reader, if I ran that same vehicle into you, you would surely feel assaulted, and you would want me arrested for the assault. The standard of “analysis” used at the New York Times is whether President Trump is literally correct to say that Good “ran over” Ross. Most Americans would consider being struck by a two-ton vehicle being “run over”, even if they did not actually go under the wheels.
Stupid semantic arguments from an activist newsroom are not going to change reality. They are a deflection from the issue of radicalized women acting like ghost dancers who think they are immune to bullets. Indeed, the NYT deplores that anyone wants to discuss the problem at all. We have heard so much about the radicalization of young men, but the liberal white women are the craziest of us all, it turns out, and the radicalizers are desperate to change the subject from what they have done.
An attorney for the family and partner of Renée Good says they will pursue litigation against the federal government because they “do not want her used as a political pawn, but rather as an agent of peace for all”. Of course, Antonio Romanucci was not referring to the peace of Minnesotans, just the peace of the criminal aliens that ‘sanctuary cities’ like Minneapolis have systematically refused to turn over to ICE in the safety of the local jail.
Yes, the sinister plot twist here is that these armed ICE raids that Gov. Walz and Mayor Frey have made so dangerous with their irresponsible leadership, that Good died protesting, were a completely unnecessary product of Democratic policies. One hundred percent of all the risk in Minnesota today has been manufactured by virtue-signaling Democrats making a very weird decision to die on the hill of defending criminal aliens from deportation by denying ICE access to their jails.
That is the true story, which is unflattering, thus the extreme efforts to distract us from this reality with street chaos. Walz even closed the schools (“for safety”) to intensify the emergency and weaponize youth protest. Students thanked Tim Walz by gathering at the capitol building on Wednesday, where they rioted and shoved and fought one another, safe from the evil grip of Donald Trump’s ICE gestapo.
Good was so irresponsible that she had her dog in the vehicle while she played chicken with armed federal agents. We are just lucky she did not have a child in the back seat, too. Romanucci absurdly exalts Good as “an animal lover” for this horrendous decision-making. One by one, every illegal and idiotic action Good took is systematically excused because she was a mother, a poet who had cute fuzzy things in her glove compartment. “That’s fine, dude! I’m not mad at you”, Good said just 23 seconds before striking Ross with her vehicle. The activists pretend Good was sincere, that she was not taunting ICE officers just like her partner Becca was doing in that same moment. It is deliberate disingenuousness.
In Ross’s video, Renée can be seen looking right at him with a smile one second before she pressed the accelerator. Again, the legal standard to be applied in this incident is whether a law enforcement officer would have a reasonable fear for his life while he was being hit by the fender of a two-ton Honda Pilot when the driver was making eye contact. The answer, again, is obviously yes, they would. In Plumhoff v. Rickard, the United States Supreme Court also found that officers do not have any duty to stop pulling the trigger of a gun before the threat is neutralized. There is no legal limit to the number of bullets any law enforcement officer may shoot to neutralize a threat.
Activists hate this reality, so they invert it, make things up, and make noise. The truth hurts them: Renée and Becca Good are bog-standard white liberal women who actually bought into the insane idea that they possessed some kind of privilege that they could share with nonwhite people by impeding federal immigration officials. In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, Becca recorded herself on camera expressing surprise that the ICE agents had used real bullets. This excited utterance tells us how far out of touch with reality their activism was. It will also damage Becca’s credibility as a plaintiff that she accepted blame immediately for what had just occurred:
Just as the Goods were convinced they had a privilege that does not exist, Tim Walz, who reassured them of its existence, also seems to believe he has special veto rights over federal law enforcement. He is bringing in the National Guard today, ostensibly to protect the public. Walz accused the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI of “finding an excuse to attack the victim and her family” rather than prosecuting Ross, for he has his own priorities in the matter. Criminal justice is not among them.
Justice is a feeling, for Walz. It is also a long-term vengeance project. He instructed Minnesotans to “bank evidence for future prosecution” of “atrocities” by ICE agents by using their phones and called upon them to take part in “mutual aid” to create “a sense of safety for our neighbors”. Safety, in this case, means making Minnesota safe for non-citizen sex offenders, murderers, and human traffickers. Good died to protect people like this on behalf of Tim Walz, that’s how demented she was:

We “believe in the rule of law”, Walz said in his strange address. Minnesota is “an island of decency in a country being driven toward cruelty” by the evil orange man in the White House. Minnesotans heard Walz and formed armed vigilante mobs in response. One mob attacked ICE vehicles Wednesday night, broke into a safe, took weapons and documents, committed crimes. The mashup below comes from Western Lensman. Two men, including the one with the face tattoo who took the rifles, were easily identified and arrested within 24 hours.
On Wednesday, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey also asked residents to “fight” ICE agents in the street, visibly stunning his chief of police, Brian O’Hara. The chief took his turn at the microphone to discourage unlawful behavior. They were responding to a new shooting incident. This time, an ICE agent was pursuing a man on foot who attacked him with a shovel. During the altercation, two locals joined in and also attacked the agent, delivering the “mutual aid” that Tim Walz had requested.
The agent in the altercation shot the subject, Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis, who was taken away in an ambulance with a leg wound. One man who took part in the altercation was also arrested. His family is of course claiming that the story is all wrong and he is completely innocent. Amazingly, this story is being reported by legacy media outlets with the facts buried far below the lede to present the false image of an agency out of control. If anyone is out of control in Minneapolis, however, it is the anti-ICE mob. They have no training at all, no rules of engagement, no limits to their use of force.
The scenes from Minneapolis are not peaceful protesting or democracy or sunlight. A Minneapolis man was also arrested for threatening law enforcement with a gun during a riot Wednesday night. A Minneapolis motel was attacked by a mob convinced ICE was inside. No one in the mob seems to notice or care about difference between their own local police and federal agents, because the snowballs and rocks get thrown regardless. The rabid anti-ICE activists cannot even seem to recognize other anti-ICE activists, leading to fights between them. Minneapolis does not have enough police to restore order. Rather than support a beleaguered force against the mob, Frey lamented the “very limited number of officers that we have” to position against the current ICE surge, as if that was their job.
Frey does not address his own role in the decline of the department since the summer of George Floyd. According to Liz Collin, reporter for Alpha News, “dozens” of officers have recently turned in paperwork for the state’s new paid leave program, marking the “all time low” for department morale. Rumor has it that most of the departing officers are joining ICE. Such a trend would be understandable. Minneapolis police have been playing ‘catch and release’ with some of the worst offenders in Minnesota for too long, and the frustration of being unable to simply turn them over to ICE at the jailhouse for deportation must be intense. Now that Mayor Frey is using the MPD as human shields against accountability, no wonder they want to go on leave. If they switch sides, who can blame them?

At least four major polling firms conducted snap surveys showing that Americans disapprove of Jonathan Ross shooting Renée Good. These opinion surveys are presented as proof of guilt, a substitute for legal process, but the numbers will prove fickle, as they have before. Similar surveys showed similar results for the death of Michael Brown and many other cases in which evidence and fact eventually established there was no Nazi white supremacist police conspiracy to murder anyone, after all.
Americans see chaos in the streets of Minneapolis, hear Democrats saying the phrase “abolish ICE”, and remember how well “defund the police” worked out. Five or six years ago, this maximal pressure campaign to lynch a law enforcement officer might have worked. Americans are wiser, now. Too many of us can see what they are doing and call it out as propaganda.
More to the point, the mob in Minneapolis cannot help but wear out its welcome because that is what mobs do. Consider the example of “five Twin Cities software engineers” who endured “a frightening encounter after the men were misidentified as undercover federal agents” by activists with apps. In fact, “one of the men — who belongs to an anti-ICE Signal chat — received a message from a group labeled ‘SW Minneapolis Rapid Response’ claiming that plainclothes ICE agents were dining at the restaurant.” Fifteen minutes later, there was a mob outside. Even if the diners were not ICE agents, the ringleader assured them, they deserved this anyway, for they were “white privileged males”.
This racist vigilante mob changed hearts and minds, but not the way they had intended. “One of us is pro-ICE, one anti-ICE, others on the fence,” one the diners told Alpha News. “After this, I think some of them are rethinking everything.” Indeed, random anti-ICE mobs have started accosting random SUV drivers to randomly accuse them of being ICE, creating a new viral video subgenre. The anti-ICE mob is about five seconds from setting up roadblocks and demanding everyone’s papers like a bunch of, you know, Nazis.
Here is video of a street mob attacking a random man to make him remove an American flag hoodie that says “Freedom”, since only fascists like freedom. “Take it off and you won’t get hurt!” someone yells at him, repeatedly, with curses. My understanding is that the gentleman having this experience is himself an immigrant. The Minneapolis mob is entirely high on its own supply as it harasses random people with the blessing of their FDL leadership.
It gives me no joy to say that I do not think Renée Good will be the last person to die over ICE arrests in Minnesota. The Walz-Frey street mob is capable of violating civil rights in ways that no law or legal standard will tolerate, that will prove very unpopular, and probably deadly. The mob has no remit, no orders, and no authority. Tim Walz called them into the streets. Now he has the National Guard in the streets, ostensibly to restore order, when he is entirely to blame for the disorder in the first place.
This morning, a mob entered a Baptist church in Minneapolis to disrupt the service, alleging the pastor is an ICE agent. This is the “safety” and “mutual aid” that Tim Walz wanted Minnesotans to display. We are about five seconds from this lynch mob tearing into the homes and businesses of suspected ICE agents to hold a pogrom.
Every time Walz blames ICE, or names Trump, he is telling you to look away from his massive fraud scandal. Jacob Frey does not want his deadly ‘sanctuary mayor’ virtue signal exposed as a dangerous fraud, either. Democrats do not want us to focus on what they did, on what they overlooked, in order to secure that Somali voting block. They are not really mad about one ICE agent. They are mad that they got caught, terrified of the consequences, and willing to sacrifice every last one of us to save themselves.

The only reason that I have any compassion for the anti-ICE mob members is that most of these people have probably never before had to face hard limits or consequences for crossing them. Now that they are adults they are of course completely responsible for their antisocial behavior, but I think that they "don't know any better," because they have never been required to grow up. Their toddler stage behavior has been actively enabled by their immature parents and similarly dysfunctional teachers and community leaders. It isn't surprising that Good and her wife showed no concern at all for the welfare of her child, let alone the life of the family dog.
