All of these are far more likely explanations for “non-human biologics” being found in a “crashed spacecraft” than aliens from the 8th dimension.

What goes around comes around. UFOs are a perennial fad.

In the 1970s after Erich Von Daniken published his series of little green men fantasies starting with Chariots of the Gods, I spent many long evenings in the back yard with my Grandmother scanning the heavens with binoculars hoping to be first in the queue when the aliens arrived.

I can understand from the life my Grandma lead why she was hoping to get abducted.
