Democrats See Nazis Everywhere Except When They Look In The Mirror
The embrace of Islamists is changing the party -- and not for the better
Michigan Democrats have denied Jordan Acker, a Jew, a return to his seat on the Board of Regents at the University of Michigan. Acker’s home and vehicle have both been vandalized multiple times with antisemitic and pro-Palestine graffiti. In his place, Michigan Dems nominated Amir Makled, who calls Jews “demons” and echoes calls to have them banned from Congress. Makled employs a campaign staffer who justifies the ISIS massacre at Bondi Beach as an attack on a “Zionist klan rally”. Seen as a protégé of Rep. Rashida Tlaib, he is a rising star.
Acker “backed efforts to hold anti-Israel campus protesters at the University of Michigan accountable for assaulting police and engaging in intimidation of Jewish students, among other instances of student misconduct”, Josh Kraushaar explains. “He declined to support efforts to divest university funds from Israel, along with other members of the Board of Regents, as a radical faction of students had demanded.” Paul Brown, Acker’s companion on the ticket, also supported the rule of law in response to campus violence. But he is also not Jewish, and he was not targeted for this takedown.
