I have no idea how this will turn out. Apparently, someone has misinformed Bill Schmalfeldt that I am a “liberal blogging icon,” so he has invited me onto his half-hour podcast at 12 noon EST/11 AM CST today to talk about yesterday’s post on Seth Allen and LA Deputy District Attorney John Patrick Frey. Tune in for the fun, but don’t expect iconography. I live by the philosophy that no one over the age of 18 should have a hero.

UPDATE: Liberal Grouch has audio of Seth Allen’s court appearance in Maryland when he was arrested. And as I said the day before, Aaron Walker is basically Seth Allen with a law degree. So why on Earth is a public prosecutor associating with them so publicly and politically?

We’ll have to talk again, because we never actually got around to answering that question. But Grouch sang, and conservative indie blogger Paul Lemmen unexpectedly called the show. Not bad for an inaugural edition!
