What An Actual, Real, Not-Imaginary Riot Looks Like

The enemies of the Occupation movement have worked overtime to frame it as violent. They got a little help from the “black bloc” in Oakland last weekend, but that incident paled in comparison to police in Berkeley, CA beating college students with truncheons last night. Simultaneous to that display of actual, real, not-imaginary fascism, an actual, real, not-imaginary riot was breaking out on the Penn State campus over the firing of Joe Paterno. This is what a violent crowd looks like:

Protesters forced to piss and shit themselves in a police van? Not a riot. News vans overturned? Riot. Any questions?
