Occupation-Gassing (NSFW)

I’m trying to remember the time that tea parties got hit with tear gas and rubber bullets OH WAIT THAT DIDN’T FUCKING HAPPEN.

Rubber bullets leave distinct bruises. Police tried to break up occupation protests in Oakland, California and Atlanta, Georgia last night. Also Albuquerque. When did America take such a dangerous left turn at Albuquerque that it required police to break up peaceable assemblies of free Americans? Picture above via.

The movement will respond by growing, and continuing the Occupation of America. Indeed, these are Americans, occupying America, according to their rights to peaceable assembly and redress of grievances. How dare they! These miscreants with their drum circles and general assemblies must be dispersed like the crowds of Pearl Square in Bahrain.

Nonviolence has a cycle. First, as described by Ghandi, the power ignores the movement (tried, failed here). Then they laugh at you (tried, and failed so far, as the economy remains awful). Then they fight you (see above). Eventually, the Occupation wins through nonviolence and the shame of the oppressor. This is fucking shameful.
