Ron Paul is Magic (NSFW)

I just found The Amazing Atheist at YouTube. This is everything I have ever said about Ron Paul brilliantly condensed into an eight-minute NSFW rant.

    I agree.

Seconded (thirded?). Great find—I’m still laughing.

As Matt knows, this is a *particularly* sensitive issue for me today, having dueled with raging PaulBots for a large chunk of the afternoon.

  • http://www.osborneink.com OsborneInk

I scheduled this at about 10 AM today. While watching you take on the Paulite horde, I kept thinking: “should I…? Nah, I’ll wait.”

This totally cracked me up. He reminds me of my middle kid. Same hair, same cadences and liberally sprinkled F bombs in his speech, same witty dismissal of inanity, and even the same mannerisms. This is exactly how my son would make the argument. Plus, what’s not to love about someone telling the truth about Ron Paul and the bizarre cult around him? Just yesterday I saw an ad for him complete with a description of him as “The One”, and camera shots of him speaking before a delirious multitude of supporters, swathed in a halo of fuzzy white glowing in the darkness around him.  I was thinking, WTF?!

Holy crap that was epic!  Bravo!

Really? This is the mindless drivel you all follow?

You are impressed with this guy who has probably never sacrificed anything for his country? It’s amusing to mock, in a baby-like way, someone who, at the very least, deserves applause for standing on his own principles more firmly than anyone in Congress? You know, I’m all for opposing opinions and having civil debate on topics. It’s important to discuss these differences and treat each other like brothers, fighting for the same cause of a better world for our POSTERITY.

But this.. no this is really special.

This qualifies as nothing more than a mockery of a good American. A veteran, a doctor, a businessman, and a Congressman. Is he not exemplary of the American dream?

In fact, this is quite offensive to me. I served in the military and I deployed in ’07, unconstitutionally, without a doubt. It takes a lot of principle and guts to stand up for the Constitution when you are deployed. Doing so in this present military, soldiers are called nothing short of terrorists and traitors. I witnessed it first hand.

Are you for that as well?
This child (he is how he acts) brought up these points:
    - Abortion (We are entitled to our own opinions on this and Ron Paul agrees. He’d allow the states to decide and people like you can tell YOUR state government how to handle it.)
    - Creationism vs. Evolution (As good as evolution sounds.. when it comes specifically to the human genome.. it is indeed speculative in consideration to the genome fusion that doesn’t match anything before the “missing link”.. However, same as creationism is speculative. For now, we really don’t know. The oldest civilization on Earth says we were created by high-technology Aliens! Ohh..)
    - Separation of Church and State (1st Amendment: ”Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof ….” Ron Paul will uphold that to the highest regard and it even pertains to you, athiest or not.)
    - Mocks liberty “the liberty wand” (Disgraceful to America)
    - Fuck life (Disgraceful to Humanity)
    - Human life is no more significant than single-celled organisms (Disgraceful to Morality)
    - At 5:30 he says “What business is it of ours?” That is the underlying point of 90% of everything Ron Paul stands for
    - The economy is “not in great shape” (Really now! This is just an embarrassing statement. I’d like a response video once the dollar loses it’s place as the global reserve currency and it collapses in your faces)
    - Mocks ending war (What is your justification for staying?)
    - Then says over extended-military is an issue (I agree!)
    - Regression socially (How would this happen? Are you suggesting we will lose our morality overnight?)
    - Regression economically (Feudalism? No, Feudalist monetary policy is much like our FIAT currency now.. common now. We became the most powerful country on the planet with no central bank, under a gold standard. 40 years later, the FED is created and in just 20 years.. we go bankrupt.)
    - Paulites enshrine Ron Paul with “messiah-like properties” (That would be Obama supporters.. I doubt you’ll ever hear Ron Paul supporters in collective unison chanting “Yes We Can”)
    - Paulites respond to any difficult question with “What a fucking moron, how dare you challenge Ron Paul!” (Not the Ron Paul fans I know. We are usually very critical of misrepresentations of our candidate.. other than that we are pretty brutally honest about reality.. if you can’t handle it, bring constructive debate to the table and you might get treated with a little bit more respect. It’s not politicians that are the problem.. it is the apathy of American people.)
    - Paulites think Ron Paul is our only hope.. responds with no. (I agree with him! It has nothing to do with Ron Paul.. it has to do with you! Me! Americans!)

Not one mention of the Constitution in this. The most prevalent problem of our day.. and not one thing to say about it. In fact, I can’t really pull anything of much substance from this 9:00 of rhetoric.

I’m almost ashamed I spent so much time responding to this.. yet I feel the need to call it out as it is.

Don’t really think you accomplished anything today on Twitter. You accomplished very little.

    fourthed?

whatever. couldn’t agree more. yikes, i can’t stand to even look at Ron Paul, much less listen to his blather.

  • http://www.politicalruminations.com nicole473

We’ve had one recently on Cesca’s blog who has been banned at least 5 freaking times, and simply returns, adds a new number after his/her name, and continues the raging blather. gah………

  • http://www.politicalruminations.com nicole473

You certainly wasted quite a bit of your time.

    That’s all. You’re dismissed.

    This video is all WIN.

You are impressed with this guy who has probably never sacrificed anything for his country?

I am. And I’ve sacrificed a lot for my country, so there.

it is indeed speculative in consideration to the genome fusion that doesn’t match anything before the “missing link”

See the marching bulls on parade? That sentence is their poop. What is that, Star Trek technobabble technique, where you make up a sentence that sounds semi-scientific? There is one body of empirical science with ten million fossils in uniform global layers. It’s called a “theory,” like germ theory or atomic theory or music theory or color theory or number theory. Sorry, but to understand biology your kids need to learn that theory — just like they need to understand those other theories in those other subjects. So do mine. You want to teach yours about a flying spaghetti monster? Fine, don’t do it on my taxpayer dollar.

    Mocks ending war

He mocks Paulite use of the phrase as a mantra. Know what? By 2012 this will be a losing issue for a Republican. Tens of thousands of troops will already be coming home in mass numbers, and they will be turning out for Obama and volunteering in his campaign. Obama will point to Iraq and say “withdrawal accomplished.” Count on it.

We became the most powerful country on the planet with no central bank,
under a gold standard. 40 years later, the FED is created and in just 20
    years.. we go bankrupt.)

I’m wondering about your theory of history. The gold standard was finally abandoned under Nixon, and the American economy is larger than all the gold in the world in a giant stack of fake French coins. As for central banking: the Federal Reserve Act was passed in 1913, and the US rose to global competition in World War II — achieving global hegemony in 1992. You’re off by the better part of a century.

But I’m glad you’ve commented, because it all starts with the abortion bit. Quite simply, given the fact that something between 37-50% of all conceived fetuses are aborted naturally, wouldn’t that make Paul’s god the world’s number one abortion provider?

  • http://www.osborneink.com OsborneInk

And yet, Greenwald says that Obama is the one with a “dear leader” cult.

  • Jerry Rolex

Like, is this dude some kind of “intellectual?”  He sounds like he’s real smart and knows a lot about current events, politics, and Ron Paul.  Being an athiest, I guess he doesn’t agree with much of what the Moslems have to say about “infidels” and proper female attire.  Ron Paul makes radical Marxist types(e.g. the mainstream media) kinda nervous…and the Obummer cult wants to make FUCKING sure the guy stays marginalized. Shit, fucking, fuck.

While I’m not a scientist, I found that point in the Human Genome intriguing. Nonetheless, there is a lot of research in opposition to Evolution as well. It’s not something we can exactly reach a consensus on just yet.

As for history, we became the most powerful country in the world shortly after the Civil War. This was due to the Trans-Continental Railroad literally transforming human civilization. In fact, Lincoln wanted to spread the railroad across the World.

In 10 short years we went from internal destruction to most wealthy and advanced country on Earth.

Further, it’s silly to compare natural abortions to forced abortions. Your percentage is way off.. it’s probably upwards of 90% are naturally miscarried. Some studies show women miscarry thousands of times in their lives.

Nonetheless, there is a lot of research in opposition to Evolution as
well. It’s not something we can exactly reach a consensus on just yet.

Yes, it is. There’s an overwhelming scientific consensus for evolution and ZERO competing scientific theory. Ask a paleontologist.

we became the most powerful country in the world shortly after the Civil War. This was due to the Trans-Continental Railroad literally transforming human civilization.

In what imaginary universe is this true? What criteria are you using for “powerful”? Given that Roosevelt tripled the size of the US Navy while serving as Secretary without making it as large as, say, Chile’s navy, and that France had to fob off obsolete equipment on US troops in 1917 because America had only small stocks of modern military gear, you can’t possibly mean “powerful.” Perhaps you mean that the United States was an economic hegemon, but that status wasn’t achieved until the Marshall Plan.

Admit it: you’re making crap up. This is John Birch-inspired quack history you’re spouting, and it doesn’t make anyone with half a brain and the ability to use Google want to believe anything else you say. Especially when you claim that women miscarry “thousands of times” and pretend there’s a difference between a dead fetus lost to biology and a dead fetus lost to medical technology. Hell, some forms of the pill and all IUD’s are forms of birth control that deliberately destroy fetuses. Are they “abortion” too? Because guess what: to the pro-life orgs, they ARE. In fact, there isn’t ONE major pro-life org that supports a right to birth control access. Tell we WTF is “libertarian” about that.
