Morning Awful: Eat the Poor

A hierarchical society is only possible on the basis of poverty and ignorance. This is why oligarchy imbues its propaganda with idiocracy and a constant, fearful struggle against vague monolithic forces. First, oligarchy creates crisis. Then, it exploits crisis. Oligarchy cuts jobs, slashes benefits, offshores operations, and calls the savings “profit.” This puts millions of Americans on the job market, depressing wages. It also turns lots of middle class Americans into working Americans and lots of working Americans into poor Americans. Finally, oligarchy keeps their “profits” safe from the grasping hands of the welfare state by blaming the whole problem on the shiftless poor they have enlarged. See how that works?

Remember, poor people are not real Americans. If you demand fairness for the poor, then it’s class warfare. If you demand fairness for workers, it’s class warfare. If you demand fairness for the middle class and professionals, it’s class warfare. If you demand fairness for them all at the same time against the wealthiest tiny slice of America, then it’s class warfare. Thus endeth all conversation about class in America.
