Morning Awful: Coal Slurry in Alabama Rivers

Coal is death. It is dead stuff that has been compressed by time and geology into solid death. When you dig coal out of the ground, it poisons everything it touches. Activists have been warning us for years about coal mining on the Black Warrior River, and now there’s been a slurry spill:
