Saturday Afternoon TV: Death Squads

A documentary about death squads in Iraq. An infuriating look at the consequences of state-smashing. Make no mistake: our Iraqi adventure was not just disaster capitalism, but deliberate destruction of a society and nation. This is what happens when the same people who brought you death squads in Central America get elected to lead the nation in time of War.

Future presidents and Americans are left with the consequences of our monumental — and man-made — disaster in Mesopotamia; while a nation made war for a lie while pretending to live in peace, idiots focused on creating their free market utopia. Iraq was supposed to pay for itself — and take care of itself. This is what we got instead.
