This is not “cracker babies.” This is real:
“The confluence of the holiday, the march and the device is inescapable,” said Frank Harrill, special agent in charge of the Spokane FBI office. “But we are not at the point where we can draw any particular motive.”
He called the planting of the bomb an act of domestic terrorism that was clearly designed to advance a political or social agenda. (Emphasis mine)
Gee, what could have stirred up this hornet’s nest of racist ugliness? It couldn’t be that sustained right-wing campaign to blow up one New Black Panther-with-a-stick and some creatively-edited ACORN videos into a giant nontroversy to rationalize racist fearmongery, now — could it? And what was that about a right-wing violence memorandum at the Justice Department?
Terrorism is always about a social or political agenda. So is most of the conservative movement anymore. If tea party organizing has no resonance with white power movements, than why do so many white power leaders make YouTube videos inviting the tea party to defend “white culture”? Two words, by the way, that Glenn Beck has yet to explain using.
Again, what was that about there being no connection between right-wing noise and right-wing terror?
