As usual, absolutely everything Glenn Beck says here about his lost sponsors is the exact opposite of true. In fact, the most damaging boycott campaign is run by a law student, but he’s been conspicuously left unmentioned off the chalkboard. My favorite part of this is Beck’s attack on the Tides Foundation, which ignored Beck until one of his fans got into a firefight with police on his way to their headquarters. It’s only a matter of time before Beck has the blood of a massacre on his hands.
And for those who’ve forgotten how free speech works: I’m allowed to speak to your sponsors. They’re allowed to pull their ads. You can keep right on spouting eliminationist nonsense, but no one is required to put up with it — least of all those with an interest in how their product is perceived.
