Illinois Governor’s Race

Illinois incumbent governor and Democrat Pat Quinn leads by a thin margin with a few thousand ballots left to count; with the vote spread over four candidates, the GOP primary race is too close to call.

Upshot: I predict exit polls will show similar results to Massachusetts. Voters are just scared and don’t know to whom to turn. All Massachusetts proves is that if you pick the worst possible candidate and have no campaign until the last minute, you can lose to a teabagger with plenty of out-of-state money.
