As regular readers know, I’m not anti-gun nut. But I can’t help but think that if this video had been taken in an ACORN office, we wouldn’t hear the end of it on Faux Noise.
New York City’s official report is here. Mayor Bloomberg’s commentary here.

Anonymous, while I can't dispute the seeming logic of that statement, the problem here is very specific: bad guys get guns at gun shows because they are unregulated. Because so many crimes are a result of these particular guns, what we have here is a very specific failure of government leading to a disproportionate number of crimes.

I'm a different Anonymous… More gun control generally leads to more crime. The U.K. is a prime example.
"The murder rate in England and Wales has fallen to its lowest level in 20 years, with 648 homicides recorded in 2008/09 – 136 fewer than the year before. Home Office statisticians said the drop was "not a blip".
Annual crime figures published yesterday show the number of murders and manslaughters and infanticides fell to a level not seen since 1989."

"U.K. is Violent Crime Capital of Europe" – according to The Telegraph.uk website from 2 July, 2009. Even worse than the U.S., some believe. Crime is under-reported and statistics are tampered with. Political-correctness trumps human life yet again. The nation is a pale imitation of what it once was. The Third World is invading. Stabbings are way up. Gangs. Graffitti. No-go zones. Language barriers. Some call this progress(!)
