Glenn Beck says the mysterious commie art at Rockefeller Center proves that America’s most successful capitalist and oil speculator was, himself, a communist.
Actually, the artist’s name was Diego Rivera, and Rockefeller was somehow unaware of his politics when he hired him. Upon seeing the art, Rockefeller was annoyed enough to halt Rivera halfway through a mural and then order it destroyed. The entire saga is told here:
There are only two possible explanations for Glenn Beck’s ignorance: either it’s willful Stupid™, or it’s a flat-out fearmongering lie. Either way, it sure ain’t journalism.
