Glenn Beck Fail

You might think it impossible for Glenn Beck to keep topping himself for Teh Stupid™, but here it is: a rant about sea turtles and otters.

Beck’s blowing a dog-whistle here: the bit about spending 80% of the turtle conservation money internationally is directed at the anti-globalist tinfoil-hat crowd. Lost in Beck’s rant, however, is the reality that US territory ends a few miles offshore, while sea turtles live 99% of their lives in the wetter two-thirds of the planet that don’t belong to any country.

Winguts are smart! With geography!

    But why do facts need to have anything to do with anything, Matt? He's just being consistent with his conservative principles of less restriction and regulation, unfettered by truth, reason, facts and common sense, he is free to create his own world of arbitrary, mark to market punditry. Give him a break. Geez!
