Jon Voight DoesTeh Wacky™

After all the will-she won’t-she speculation, Sarah Palin showed up for the big Republican fundraiser. But her non-speaking appearance was upstaged not by Newt Gingrich, who is officially hip-deep in Teh Wacky™, but by actor Jon Voight,
who hosted the dinner, delivered a particularly harsh rebuke to Obama, saying he was “embarrassed” by the president and that Obama’s leadership would cause the “downfall” of the country.”We are becoming a weak nation,” he said, calling Obama a “false prophet” and his administration the “Obama oppression.”

Why does Hollywood’s opinion only count when some white has-been gets a case of Teh Wacky™?

I'm not gonna be able to watch Midnight Cowboy again without thinking of what a fucking douchebag Voight is now.

I was just watching this at TPC.. I couldn't watch all of it, when he started in about Israel and how the President was going to destroy it and everything I had to shut it off.. how ignorant..

He really has lost any credibility he ever had. As Paddy or Laffy not sure which one posted it said.. no wonder his daughter is ashamed of him and won't speak to him…lol

I don't like celebutards talking about politics..left or right.

I'm not adverse to a celebrity giving their opinion when asked in a conversational manner. But the outspoken ones are usually badly-informed, yes — emphasis on the "tard" in celebritard.
