You know, I actually have to respect this Mr. Lunsford. Say what you want about his open, recalcitrant racism (and I will); the man has enough cojones for straight talk while the majority of McCain-Palinites continue to speak in code. America would be better off if fewer of them started their reasoning with “It’s not because Obama’s black” and just admitted the truth that they are afraid. Because in the end, the best response to hate speech isn’t more hate — it’s more speech.
